Ordering & Shipping
Orders & Shipping for USA:
- All orders must be prepaid with a Credit/Debit Card or United States Post Office Money Order.
- To avoid errors, please be specific when ordering parts for your vehicle by including part numbers, year, model, body style, engine size and any special modifications made to it.
- We either use FedEx, USPS, UPS or Truck Freight for our shipments and at our discretion.
- We will send your package with the carrier that has the LEAST EXPENSIVE shipping fees, unless, carrier restrictions apply to your parcel, or, you specify a premium service.
- Some large items must be shipped by truck freight carriers only, you will be charged actual shipping costs plus: any crating costs, insurance, and additional fees imposed by these carriers (i.e. lift gate, specialized crates, etc.)
- ONCE THE PACKAGE IS PICKED UP BY THE CARRIER, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO TO CONTROL OR AFFECT THE PROCESS. It is literally out of our hands. If the carrier damages it or loses it we will file an insurance claim. If porch pirates got it, then unfortunately there is nothing that can be done.
- You may upgrade delivery of your order by requesting premium services. Please be aware the carriers charge more for these upgraded services! (i.e. Overnight, Second Day, etc.)
- Rates vary depending on carrier, weight and dimensions of boxes.
- Because of the ever changing rate changes imposed by the freight carriers, C&G makes no guarantee on shipping charges until the order is packed, measured and weighed at our warehouse.
- In the unlikely event there is a freight cost change between the time you order and the time we intend to ship, we will inform you before we invoice you. This gives you the choice to continue ordering at the new cost or decline the order.
- Please note: If your shipping address is a US Post Office Box your shipment will automatically be sent via USPS.
- When placing your order on the phone, any out of stock item(s) will automatically be on “back order” and ship when available unless:
- You cancel the back ordered item(s) before they ship.
- The manufacturer has discontinued the item and it will no longer be available.
- Please be advised, you will be charged a shipping fee on any additional back order shipment(s) required to fulfill your original order.
- All Packages are insured.
- C&G has a $7.50 minimum freight requirement.
- If you place your order before 11:00 AM Pacific Time and the parts are in stock, we ship “out today” for no additional charge!
- PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ORDER WITHIN 48 HOURS OF ITS ARRIVAL!
Orders & Shipping for International:
- All orders must be prepaid with a Credit Card or Cashier’s Check (payable in U.S. Funds, through a U.S. bank).
- All orders are sent either by FedEx, USPS or UPS according to size/weight limitations and/or handling requirements. To avoid errors, please be specific when ordering parts for your vehicle by including part numbers, year, model, body style, engine size and any special modifications made to it.
- International shipping charges are the actual cost imposed upon C&G Ford Parts by the carrier to ship your order. We pass any carrier negotiated discounted shipping rates to our customers. C&G has a per order handling fee up to a maximum of $25 added to your order. This fee is calculated by the number of boxes and their size, amount and type of packaging materials used, other specialized shipping requirements that your country requires and any customs forms/requirements.
- ONCE THE PACKAGE IS PICKED UP BY THE CARRIER, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO TO CONTROL OR AFFECT THE PROCESS. It is literally out of our hands. If the carrier damages it, the parcel gets lost, or customs somehow makes it disappear we will file an insurance claim. Other than that, there is nothing we can do.
- Because of the ever changing rate changes imposed by the freight carriers C&G makes no guarantee on shipping charges until the order is packed, measured and weighed.
- In the unlikely event there is a freight cost change between the time you order and the time we intend to ship, we will inform you before we invoice you. This gives you the choice to continue ordering at the new cost or decline the order.
- Every Package is insured.

Shortages
- Please understand that all orders are physically checked by two different employees, plus an electronic scanning process before being placed into the shipping box, this is to avoid errors and shortages. In the unlikely event you seem to be missing a part, please do the following BEFORE calling:
- Check the invoice and make sure the item(s) were invoiced as a shipped line item.
- Make sure the item(s) are not “Back Ordered”
- Please double check all small bags, small boxes and even under the box flaps for the missing item(s). (We sometimes put them there to avoid losing them in the packaging materials.)
- Finally, please sift through the packing materials before you toss them in the rubbish, just in case.
- If the above does not yield results, keep the box and its entire contents in the condition you received them (damaged or not) and have your customer number and/or order number ready when calling (760-740-2400) or emailing [email protected].
Damaged Shipments
- If you receive a package/part(s) that are damaged, or you are missing any items, please take pictures and call us within 48 hours of receipt of your parcel.

- Keep original box and all packaging materials for the return.
- We insure everything we ship.
Refused Shipments
- Customers who refuse delivery on their order without prior C&G consent will be charged the return freight charges back to C&G, plus the 20% restocking fee.
FedEx/USPS/UPS Shipping Surcharges
- There are many variables involved in determining shipping charges. Listed below are just a few of the additional charges that FedEx, USPS, UPS and/or DHL add.
- FedEx/UPS add an “Additional Handling” charge on some packages. Example: Over 48″ long.
- FedEx/UPS add a “Delivery Area Surcharge” to some rural destinations based on zip code
- FedEx/UPS add a “Fuel surcharge”.
- FedEx/UPS add a “Destination Outside Service Area” charge to some rural destinations.
- FedEx/UPS require that businesses operated from a residence that do not have an entrance open to the public be charged the “residential rate”
- FedEx/USPS/UPS use a term called “Dimensional Weight” for all packages to determine what they charge for delivery. Dimensional Weight raises the cost of shipping boxes that are large but light weight, or boxes that are odd shaped. Items like floor mats, patch panels, large fiberglass items, window channel kits, truck headliners, gas tanks, and others are often charged via Dimensional Weight.
- FedEx/UPS may apply a “Large Package Surcharge” to domestic and international shipments depending on (length + girth) of the package.
- Large Packages are subject to a minimum billable weight of 90 pounds.
- Visit the FedEx, USPS, UPS Web sites for detailed information about their services.
